Comprehensive Usage and Maintenance Guide
1. Fuel and Engine Care
a. Fuel Mixture: Use a 50:1 ratio of gasoline to 2-stroke engine oil.
b. Gasoline: Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87.
c. Oil: Use only high-quality 2-stroke engine oil designed for air-cooled engines.
d. WARNING: Running the engine without proper oil mixture will cause severe damage and void the warranty.
2. Initial Setup
Before first use, prepare the correct fuel mixture and add it to the fuel tank. Failure to do so may result in engine seizure, which is not covered under warranty.
3. Regular Maintenance
a. Lubricate the engine chain periodically with standard engine oil.
b. Regularly inspect and tighten all screws and bolts on the go-kart.
c. Check tire pressure and condition before each use.
4. Warranty Information
a. Engine crankshaft and carburetor are covered under a 6-month limited warranty.
b. Warranty is void if damage is caused by improper fuel mixture or lack of oil.
5. Wear and Tear Items
The following parts are subject to normal wear and are not covered by warranty:
- Clutch
- Tires
- Screws and bolts
- Chain
6. Fuel Mixing and Storage
a. Always mix fuel in a separate, approved fuel container.
b. Do not mix fuel directly in the go-kart's fuel tank.
c. Shake fuel container thoroughly before each use to ensure proper mixing.
d. If storing for more than 30 days, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops.
7. Safe Operation
a. Always wear appropriate safety gear, including a DOT-approved helmet.
b. Follow all local laws and regulations regarding off-road vehicle use.
c. Never operate the go-kart under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
d. This product is not suitable for use by individuals weighing over 264 lbs (120 kg).
8. Environmental Considerations
a. Be mindful of noise levels and respect local quiet hours.
b. Avoid environmentally sensitive areas and stick to designated trails.
c. Properly dispose of any waste materials, including old oil and fuel mixtures.
9. Prohibited Operations
a. Do NOT simultaneously press the accelerator and brake. This can severely damage the clutch or transmission.
b. Always fully release the accelerator before applying the brake.
c. Do not operate on public roads or in crowded areas.
d. Avoid driving through deep water or submerging the engine.
10. Storage
a. Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
b. Cover the go-kart when not in use to protect from dust and debris.
